Lexdot takes your security and peace of mind seriously. We want you to hire and works with confidence. To reinforce our commitment to building trust and safety in our marketplace, we work with both parties, providers and clients to ensure peace of mind while they focus on their Agreement. We want clients or employers to receive the best quality of the services they paid for, and the providers to receive their earnings on time and as agreed. That’s why we introduced some principles of fairness that ensure that we work with both parties to resolve matters, investigate chargebacks and other issues that may arise in a Lexdot transaction when a party follows the guidelines in our Terms and Conditions of Service.

This page explains the types of transactions that may be covered, the steps you must take to avail yourself the benefit of our Protection Policy  and how you can protect yourself.

WHAT IS COVERED

Fraudulent Transactions

We do our best to stop fraudulent transactions before they are completed, but if a fraudulent transaction happens Lexdot will assist in the investigations and will offer all possible support to ensure an amicable resolution. Lexdot encourages providers and employers to try to resolve any fraudulent or unauthorised transactions. However, all parties involved in a dispute will have to provide Lexdot with the information we need to investigate all cases.

Dispute Resolution

If a Client reports that a task is not completed as described, as long as Provider has followed our policies, Lexdot will attempt to help you resolve these disputes. We work with providers who have done their best to comply with the demands of a job and employers who made the demands clear. To limit cases of non-delivery and defective delivery, we ask both parties to always have an Agreement with clear terms  and in compliance with our Terms and Conditions.

Chargeback

At Lexdot, we wary about chargebacks and want to keep it to the minimum. Parties to a dispute are usually requested to provide a clear documentation that the service was described accurately and consistently throughout the listing and in all associated communications. In addition, a Provider must provide supporting documentation that the task was completed and delivered to the client through the agreed medium, and proof that the item was delivered within the agreed time frame.

PROTECTION

All verified providers are automatically enrolled in our Provider Protection coverage without any further application process when they accept our Terms of Service and Providers Terms. However, a provider must additionally comply with the following guidelines to protect them against losing money to chargebacks and reversals.

Be very clear in your cover letter about your skills.
Be who you claim to be.
Use accurate photographs and descriptions when you post tasks.
Include reasonable and accurate processing times or ship-by dates in the Agreement.
Deliver your task according to the processing time or ship-by date you listed.
Deliver the task to the address provided on Lexdot. If in doubt, contact Client or our Admin.
Mark the project as completed before you send it out.
Keep a valid proof of delivery by way of tracking number that shows the order route and delivery progress.
Use Lexdot approved payment system.
Cooperate with investigations conducted by Lexdot, cancel and refund any transactions deemed invalid or unauthorised.
Comply with Lexdot Terms and Conditions and the laws of your state and country,

All transactions on lexdot are subject to the following general guidelines:

  • You will get a full refund only if your order does not arrive within the delivery time promised by the provider.
  • If your item is significantly different from the provider’s product description, you can A: Return it and get a full refund, or B: Get a partial refund and keep the item.
  • Providers sometimes also offer additional guarantees for their products.
  • If your order hasn’t arrived within the promised time, or isn’t as described. you will have to contact the provider directly to try to resolve the issue. If no resolution is reached, you can contact our support team.

However, every case is treated as unique and separate. Please be aware that if you use PayPal in your transaction, you are also subject to PayPal’s Client and Fraud Protection.

HOW DISPUTES ARE RESOLVED

Contact Provider

Contact the Provider If your task was not performed as agreed, hasn’t arrived within the promised time, or isn’t as described. Try to reach an amicable resolution.

Open a Dispute

Either party can open a dispute to request a refund or our intervention. If both parties were unable to resolve the problem, you can submit a dispute form.

Escalate Dispute

At this point, we will monitor the resolution process between the parties, if any party is not satisfied with the solution offered by the other, he can escalate the dispute.
